YUM YUM YUMMY should be the name of this restaurant. This is down-right my Chinese mother's cooking if I had a Chinese mother. My co worker recommended this place, (he's Chinese), and I'm glad we came here. All the food was expected and more. My favorite was that Salted Fish & Chinese Sausage Clay Pot Rice! 11/10!!! The service is quick. The food came out at a good time. We didn't wait long. Nothing fancy about the interior. But, we came here for some Chinese soul food! Love It! I'll be back for that salted fish clay pot.
10/10. Get the clay pot dish, clams, fried small white fish, or the lobster. So delicious and authentic. If you haven't had cantonese food in Boston, you gotta check this spot out. Been going here since I was a little child. Staff is super friendly and I appreciate their kindness and hospitality towards everyone. Restaurant also has 2 floors which is nice because you can bring larger groups.
This place is consistently my go to when I come to Chinatown. I know the 3.5 star rule but trust me when I say the food is probably so good that it fully deserves at least 4 stars. The place can get crowded fast since it's small but the wait is usually quick and they set up a table for us the last time we were there. Staff can get really busy but once they notice you they'll help immediately! I wouldn't come here on a date but definitely bring a group of friends!
A hidden gem for amazing Chinese food in Chinatown! While Wing's Kitchen seems like an extremely small place to eat in, do not be deceived. I learned they can fit large groups! When you come down the stairs, you'll see a small layout, BUT there's another set of stairs to go up to more large tables!! For 9 people, we ordered 7 dishes to share as family style and we were full by the end: * Beef Chow Foon Dry (Dried fried beef flat noodles) - good wok air for a well-distributed stir fry and smoky taste! * Eggplant w/ Salted Fish Sauce - had that good kind of "stink"/aroma and taste, and can order the non-salted fish if you can't do smelly food ;) * Veal Chop w/ Black Pepper Sauce - we ordered veal strips because we were too lazy to bite around the bones and this was perfect! * Dried Sauteed String Beans * Sweet & Sour Pork * Pork Chop w/ Spicy Pepper Salt * Three Delights (Shredded Chicken & Pork w/ Bean Sprouts) Egg Noodles Overall, the food is up to the standards of what I'd expect in an authentic Chinese restaurant! Pricing-wise, it's GREAT - only $16-17 per person with what we ordered for that much food. Service is your typical Chinese restaurant service - they get the job done! My party sat at one of the three tables on the second floor and maybe because of that, fewer waiters came up to check in on us. At the same time, that made it seem more of a private room for us. The second floor could totally be a space for a larger group event (with reservation of course)! I would come back for some great Chinese food at an affordable price with a large group of people to share different dishes!
I was walking by and I had to try this place. I went in and I orderd kunpaw chicken on rice. Huge portion ! I was blown away with taste ! Very homie old school type, little space and million dollars secret behind cheff's experience. I was so satisfied with all experience. Simple Delicious Huge portion Nice spicy beautiful kumpaw chicken. I think I should ask Emily to join me for next time.
